You’ll get a big boost in quality, especially with a high refresh rate of 165Hz with the option to dip below, and NVIDIA’s G-Sync technology. The ROG Swift PG279Q represents a new generation displays, with a WQHD 2560 x 1440 panel that delivers four times the resolution of 720p and 109 pixels per inch. The Asus ROG PG279Q is so comfortable at 1440p. ![]() Microcenters brick-and-mortar inventory may finally be at a point where most PG279Q models are of acceptable if not exceptional quality. The PG279Q does not have this issue and has slightly richer, more expressive color representation. Asus’ ROG Swift PG279QM packs 240 Hz, and a huge Rec.2020 color gamut into a 27-inch QHD/IPS panel. Excellent alternative to AOC products not only in function of the price (sometimes lower than the latter), but also for the experience.
